Catching Up!!

Well it's been a very busy few months since I last posted. Currently, I have a bit of time on my hands as I just got a reduction in my HR job and am down to 1 day a week. So, I am using my time wisely and trying to play catch up (updating blog, connecting with friends, organizing, etc..).

Mat has been in Hong Kong for 11 days and unfortunately he has been very ill for the last 6 days of his trip. I really miss him and so do the kids. We pulled off hooking up skype and what a great way to stay in touch and see each other. The only downfall is that since I could see Mat, I wanted to squeeze him even more.

We managed to get some skiing in and headed to the cabin for ski week for some much needed family time. We've been so busy doing the daily grind that it was great to get some quality time as husband/wife and good connections with the kids.

Basketball has taken up most of our weekends. Mat has been trying to coach while working at the start up company in the city. He's not loving the commute! The season is ending and we are now moving into track for both kiddos and softball for Anicka. The fun never ends, but it's good to have tired kids at the end of the day ;-)
